The fact is there will always be the odd idiot out there no matter what. 35k fans emotional and half of them drunk if I was a footballer that had just lost a semi final I wouldn’t be going on Twitter for 24 hours or so. Poor that Fulham haven’t turned up. I know it happens and I get that they’re champions etc but it’s a shame for the other sides that they had to play a motivated Fulham and the pigs get a free 3 points. Looks like pigs V Huddersfield Semi as it stands. Huddersfield still unbeaten and the run is 985 games now so.

I’d like to say I did that on purpose to illustrate my ‘mistakes happen’ comment, but I’m not sharp enough to do that 😄

Morning after the night before going into last night I said to everyone around me I’d take a 1-0 loss there and then. what really knocked the stuffing out of me was the performance AND the fact that I really Didn’t see anything special from that Sunderland side. 20 minutes in once we’d quietened the crowd down I started to think we could have a good go here and turn them over if we’d got to half time at 0 0 and ended it 0 0 we’d all be welding completely different. It’s 1 mistake and mistakes do happen in life and football. Hillsborough will be much louder and much more intense on Monday (aside from the numbers I wasn’t impressed at all with their crowd). I hope the players turn up as we KNOW they have it in them. If we go out with a whimper having not had a proper go I’ll be devestated.

Makes me wonder if I actually ever want us back. Maybe a season just to say we’ve done it. 2k away allocations, no chance of anything better than top 10…. Grown to like the football league over the past 20 years 😂
