Owling_Wolf Posted November 27, 2022 Author Share Posted November 27, 2022 When I first encountered it in the 1960s R&B, played in the 50's & '60s by the likes of Bo Diddley, was a half-way house between the Blues and Rock n Roll, hence the name: Rhythm & Blues, shortened then to R&B.
