De Zerbi leaving Brighton after the last game.
Mutual agreement, the statement says
Is the mutual agreement between De Zerbi, Bayern and his release clause?

Just stick whatever they use for goal line technology then.
There are systems that are accurate enough and light enough to use that they can chuck in the players bra.
Goal line tech is camera based and made easier by only being required in a very small area. Any positional based system would require accuracy to millimetres, with location being given hundreds of times per second, in an environment that is very noisy.
The system the PL is moving to cuts down the error margin to ~2-3cm. If there was something that could cut it down further, someone would be trying to sell it.

GPS isn’t accurate enough for that.

IMO they also need to redefine offside. Who the hell wants to see goals chalked off because of the length of a toenail?
This will be partly alleviated by the new tech they’ve got coming, but at the moment the margin of error is about 10-15cm, yet they measure to the millimetre.

Thought Delgado had another year.
That surprised me too, guess it was a 1+1.

Would be interesting if Tottenham could earn a plucky draw at home to the City juggernaut tonight, thus leaving the final day as a goal difference shootout 🙂
The more interesting goal difference shootout would be between Spurs and Villa if Spurs win tonight and Villa were to draw against Palace. It would be all on whether Spurs could put 7 past the pigs.

I thought he meant that we’d get first refusal on players they wanted to send out on loan.

Peterborough v Oxford tonight, the hosts will be hoping for better luck this season.
They’re 5 goals worse off than at the same stage last year so may need it.

Continuing with the Sky subscription theme, what's everyone paying these days? Mine was £38 a month but they've just put it up and it's now £44-50 which I calculated as a 17% increase IIRC.I'm coming out of contract in August or there abouts and they'll be looking to increase it again I expect so just wondered at the going rate as I'm considering dumping them and getting a freesat box in.
I’m paying around £50p/m (post latest increase) for whatever their highest package is + Netflix and Paramount. The best day to call them is the day after your contract has expired, the deals they have are much better. Next time mine is up will be the first time I’ve been out of contract with a decent internet speed so we’ll see what happens then.

Haven’t Troyes been relegated from Ligue 2?

Something I saw yesterday suggested there could be method in the madness, reckons Hull spunked a lot wages wise to inevitably fail.
Always rated him. But if that’s right then guess I can see the point.

Rosenior leaves Hull. Madness.

I’ve got the Oxford Peterborough game on. F me League One is shit.
But that isn’t our problem.

We’re a Championship side for next season and we have possibly the most capable manager we’ve had in decades.
It’s a sign of intelligence to modify your opinion based on new evidence, so I trust the 1867 will say exactly the same that they always have.

Even better, its Birmingham City that have been relegated
As someone that remembers their fans antics after they won promotion to the PL in 2007, good f*****g riddance! Hope you stay down there for a long, long time
Enjoy your first game of the season at home to Wrexham!
Add to that they’re run by Yanks that thought they were so knowledgeable that they fired a manager who looked to be setting them up for a playoff chase.
-
Hull finish 3-3. They can still get to the playoffs and Norwich still not secure despite a +7 goal difference. They’re probably there, but not by enough to play the reserves. Good result for us.
-
If we needed any reminder at all that we cannot rely on results elsewhere then Leeds getting hit for 4 is it.

Plenty of time in the season for the century!
101 is the target, beating Swindon’s PL record (though that was from 42 games).

I appreciate I am a miserable fucker but hearing about folk taking inflatables and creating a "party" atmosphere - what fucking planet are these numpties on
Indeed. I remember Peterborough’s pitch invasion after they beat us (around a decade ago). No one should celebrate until the job is done.

Chelsea proving that they can manage just fine without Cole Palmer.
