    For me DC has overseen some of the best improvements since most of us have seen since the early 90’s IMO.

    Put his money were his mouth is (unlike you  1867 mob. Made mistakes yes, who doesn’t, could’ve easily walked away or sold us to some racket.

    Thank you Danny for rescuing a club that looked in October, your belief in your methods and instilling that into a squad bereft of fitness, confidence and ideas has seen a remarkable turnaround on and off the pitch.

    Should we rubber stamp safety next week then you have some difficult decisions ahead of you regarding the squad but I'm excited to see what can be achieved in the summer transfer window and a pre season behind you.

    Was great seeing your family walk around the pitch with you as you were being given the deserved acclaim from the fans.

    Also, something that always confused me about him, he was always at Wednesday games but I always thought he was banned from attending. How does such a massive bloke manage to get into games he's banned from?! Haha I guess you can't keep a man away from his beloved team! 

    My mum told me he was the one who coined the 'we're all Wednesday aren't we' motto and I saw it mentioned in an article in the paper too, so I can confirm that. He was 60 when he passed and I'm not sure at what age he got into SWFC, so I'd guess the motto has been around for 40 or so years, give or take.

    I've enjoyed reading the stories about him, its so easy to picture him getting into all the shit you guys mention! My mum could definitely tell me a story or two, as could Uncle Andy (his brother).

    1/3rd would vote for a turd if it was in blue and white stripes, or simply just go for the football and the off field stuff simply does not bother them

    I think that’s more than 1/3rd IMO, as a whole us Wednesday fans have never been that arsed about protesting, yeah we moan and groan about whatever’s going off but most are realist that know unless one of us wins the lotto we’re never gonna own the club in this era. This 1867 lot probably mean well but let’s be honest they ain’t gonna achieve fuck all. And I think DC has a decent majority of fans behind him including me.
