Bannan wasnt fit, shown by Mass being the most forward playing midfielder.

Mistakes made today but 1 nowt is not the end of the world. Ref was average.

Neil has them defensively solid but that last 25 mins must worry them, they did a Wednesday and dropped deeper than a Fred West burial

Agree regarding Bannan. Was obvious to me within the first 5 mins that he wasn’t fully fit. Was staggered that he wasn’t hooked and Dele-Bashiru put on on his place. And Berahino was just awful and no help to Gregory whatsoever. On the upside, Sunderland were mediocre and definitely beatable on Monday…but only with our strongest, fully-fit team.

See the "club ledgend" comment in the thread, if he's a legend the game is fucking fucked.

Think there’s a difference between players regarded as ‘Greats’ (like Waddle, Shez, Hirsty, Roland, Bullen😁) and ‘Legends’. You don’t have to be an outstandingly good player to be a club legend. For instance, there’s quite a few from Big Jack’s teams that are widely regarded as such, even though as players they really were bang average journeymen.

I don't hate Bannan I just don't cry wank over his bang average career

Who does? I think it’s more the case that certain posters on here regularly and ridiculously make him out to be one of our worst players, one of the main reasons why we’re in L1 and the prime reason why we don’t win any game.

  4. Middle of nowhere…crap breeze-block stadium. Burnden Park was a dump, but was better than the Reebok, or whatever it’s called now.
Was last there in BFRs second spell: remember we lost 3-2, Atherton scored and was the only game that I remember seeing Goce Sedloski play for us. Actually didn’t think he was that bad on the day, but think he only played 4 games in total before Ron’s successor (Wilson?) got rid.
