We are not strong in certain areas of the pitch.

Goalkeeper, is a weakness.

Centre half is potentially an issue if we don’t play players who are in form at club level, which means Dier, White and Tomori should play.

Left back is a major issue although Shaw was excellent last night. He needs a move away from Old Trafford.

Central Midfield, no concerns. We are strong.

Attacking midfield players, our players get in every other team in the world.

Wide forwards, very strong, especially if Rashford and Sancho keep showing the form they have.

Striker, very strong. All three nines are good good players.

It also says a lot that he was arguably the best player on the pitch, and didn't play the whole game!

I think he'll go with 3 at the back to accommodate his overlapping wingbacks. That'll be Walker, Dier, and probably Stones. I don't think Tomori gets on the plane, even though he's having the season of his life in Italy. Neither does White. Maguire and Coady will be the cover.

Well Pope has blown his chance now then, it'll be Pickford in goal.

Can't see how Maguire can be picked to start, his confidence has gone now that all the media and fans are on his back (understandably as he has been shit and is not good enough to play for a club like Man Utd, never mind captain them).

What are the options at CB, Cody and Tarkowski? Having three Everton players in the back 5 does not sound good at all. Mings, Walker and Stones, all prone to clangers too. Dier is a nailed on starter now surely, not that he should be in the side ideally either.

We need to go all out attack as we are looking crap at the back, which is incompatible with Southgate's approach really.

I hope I'm very wrong but we'll not get beyond the quarters.
