Glorified friendlies.

Four games in ten days when some players are coming off the back of a 50+ game season and then back in for pre-season in 20 days time.

Completely ridiculous.  Then some are suggesting players will be fresher in the winter World Cup as not playing on the back of a full season.

Lost a lot of relevance being passed around multiple channels imo too, I'll still watch with my tea mind

I like the Nations League - I think it’s a great idea.

Promtion and relegation, games against teams of a similar standard, no tactical friendlies against lower nations to falsely get your seeding up for tournaments (I’m looking at you Wales and Poland). What’s not to like?

These fucking horns are annoying. It’s like South Africa all over again

Was just thinking, who in their right mind would give vuvuzelas (sp?) to a stadium of kids?  Then I realised: It's their revenge for the crowd ban that they earned against us.  🤬

I'm not sure how much of the mind numbing play from England is down to Southgate's tactics/team selection.

What I do know is that in over 3 years at Middlesborough as a manager, his win rate was 29%

Stevie Wonder could run this England squad with the talent available, but not it seems GS.

I have got to agree with the sentiments.
This is no lie, but we from an attacking point of view, I can’t see many teams having our depth of talent, and more terrifyingly, the youth as well.

Southgate has to come up with a way of harnessing that group. However, a 5-2-3 is not the way forward, a 4-2-3-1 is.

I thought that Rice and Bellingham were poor yesterday, the wing backs were also poor, especially defensively.

I have no issue with Kane dropping in and facing the play, but the wide players have got to run into spaces he leaves. Basically, exactly what Son and Kulashevsky do at Spurs.

And as much as I rate Mount, he’s not a left sided forward.

Maguire and Stones in the centre Ty.

God help me for listening but TalkSport played an interview with Jon Stones and asked how he felt playing in a 4 for City and a 3 for England. He mumbled a reply about having to be adaptable.

Then Adrian Durham and Dean Ashton (WTF) discussed the merits and Durham said Maguire and Stones should be the central two because "they both come from South Yorkshire"
