Reesh Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Diagnosed with dementia Used to dislike the bloke but his openness with mental health and his attitude around it changed my opinion. Wish him all the best here and not nice for Josh to have his dad suffer this 2 1 Quote
Paul from Wisewood Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Terrible news horrible condition, will be very tough for Josh Quote
Skamp Posted January 10 Posted January 10 (edited) Really do wish him all the best going forward. Like you say, he's one of those that only grows on you as time goes by. Used to work with a Bristol City fan who hated the play off final coming round each year as it was odds on that that goal would be shown. As I say. Good luck to him and the family Edited January 10 by Skamp Quote
Billysboy Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Wish him well, also shows up the Santos bollocks for what it was. Quote
HoylandOwl Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Had the pleasure of his company with @LiamOwl a few years back. Dementia is a bastard, a proper bastard. Wish him and those close to him all the best 1 Quote
owl71 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 My Mum was diagnosed with it in 2013. It’s worst for the person with it at the start, when they’re still just about compus mentus enough to realise that it’s slipping away. For families it’s bereavement in slow motion. Occasionally and unexpectedly it gets to you. But to be honest, one of the things that gets on my nerves is people who always want to talk about that first whenever they see you. It’s just not humanly possible to be continuously sad about something for 11.5 years and counting. 2 Quote
