I've emailed them now. Last batch of tickets were posted out on Monday first class apparently so they ought to have come in time. Posties can't blame weather as ice and Snow disappeared of roads and pavements around here last Monday. Quote

Aye the lack of snow and ice on your road means the posties across the depots can all get into work to sort out your tickets Quote

Outside Sheffield station was like an ice rink Wednesday morning due to those polished tiles 🤣 1 Quote

I've 7 miles to drive yet some of em at work only live a mile or two away and never turned up on Monday, must be a Sheffield thing, lazy bar stewards. 😂 Quote
Harry Lime Posted January 10 Posted January 10 P.Charles, Valentin, Ihiekwe, Bernard, M.Lowe. Musaba, Chalobah, S,Charles, Ingelsson, Kobacki. J.Lowe DR was banging on about the need to deserve to get a start by showing some work ethic in training and in games. Quote

Reesh Posted January 10 Author Posted January 10 We've got our cup referee for this one, Thomas Kirk, was in charge of our win at Blackpool this season and the 3rd round cup win over Cardiff last season Quote

Brilliant...🤨 Quote
owl71 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Well I’d like us to pick a strong side and take the cup seriously. We’ve consistently beaten the teams at the bottom and lost to the teams at the top. We have plenty of goals, pace and creativity. We don’t need to dominate games to score goals. On the other hand we are weak as piss defending set pieces and just basically lack determination at the back. All of which adds up to, we will be in the same division next season, and it’s a long shot that January transfer business will change that. Let’s have a cup run FFS. Quote
HappyOwl Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I’m going to this one and I’m going to have a right boozy do 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺 1 Quote

Rohl has not tended to rotate too much. They have had a week off and it's 8 days to the next game so the other side is you don't want them ring rusty either before facing Leeds. And the players probably want a change from training. So I now expect 11 changes Quote
Tewksbury Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I love the cup games when we give the "proper footballers" a rest, put the second string grafters out and smash teams on workrate. Quote
Tank_Owl2,0 Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I expect a reasonably strong team selection from what he said at the press conference. However I’d be slightly surprised if Windass plays because we need to make sure he’s available for the league if we have any aspirations of finishing top 6-10. Keeper selection will be interesting, I guess it might come down to whether we have permission to play JB so he’s not cup tied, I guess the same goes for SC as well. I think it would be good to give PC a chance to play, he’s done well this season when he has. Quote
Reesh Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 Pierce Charles will play but Beadle was allowed to play in the League Cup so expect the same here and would confirm him staying for the season. Quote

Could Hamer not potentially get a run out? Id go with Charles also though. It's a good match to bet on a couple of Wednesday goals and a few owls corners, good odds today Quote
Tylluan Posted January 11 Posted January 11 If Shea and Beadle aren't in the squad then the rumour mill meltdown will start. Quote

Tewksbury Posted January 11 Posted January 11 If Beadle or Hamer plays, I'd expect Charles to be out on loan and Beadle confirmed for the season. Quote
OptimisticOwl Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I'd like to see the Charles brothers play in the same game for Wednesday, before it's too late. One or both of them could be off this month. Quote
bradowl Posted January 11 Posted January 11 (edited) Really thick fog down here near Coventry, it needs to clear or game could be in doubt. Edited January 11 by bradowl Quote

Tylluan Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Ugbo gets another go with Jamal left on the bench. Thought it might have been the other way round. Quote
