Reesh Posted January 2 Posted January 2 After our humbling there earlier this season and the result last season at ours we could do with getting 3 points and pushing onto the top six. Quote
HoylandOwl Posted January 2 Posted January 2 To finish off this week with three points would be lovely, especially with the break in league footy for the FA Cup after it. 1 Quote
80s Owl Posted January 2 Posted January 2 I remember the game against these last season, started firing on all cylinders didnt play too badly lost 0-4 😬 Quote

Reesh Posted January 3 Author Posted January 3 Referee is Premier League man Robert Jones. We've had him 9 times, we've won 2, Norwich 5-1 on the last day of the 2017/18 season and Bristol City at home the season after Millwall have won 4 of the 10 games he's done for them, oh and he's from Miseryside. HoylandOwl Posted January 3 Posted January 3 I’m hoping we don’t get the snow tonight, I’m not fancying sliding my way to Sheffield from Lincolnshire! Quote

It's not forecast here until tomorrow night. So getting here shouldn't be a major problem. Getting home however, might be a different story. 1 Quote

Apparently the roads should be okay (until later), but it is still going to be cold and could be slippy underfoot. Everything has been well frozen around here for the last couple of days, but looking out of the window now @ 22.10, it is not as bad and the cars are thawing out. You will be fine, the cockerneys will need 2 coats and an overcoat though. Quote

Chelters Posted January 4 Posted January 4 I have two adult and one u17 ticket for today but giving it a miss due to the weather warning later impacting the journey back. They are on mobile passes, DM me if interested. Quote
Waddle93 Posted January 4 Posted January 4 (edited) Need another 3points as after this is it Leeds & QPR away so 2 hard games following. Also as Millwall away was the worse performance under Rohl. Edited January 4 by Waddle93 Quote
owl71 Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Miwwaw only seven points from their last ten games, and only scored five goals during that run. They haven’t conceded all that many though, even during such a poor run. So it’s kind of the opposite of us, the irresistible force meets the immovable object when we’re attacking, while it’s the resistable force against the movable object when they are. Quote

KrolMong Posted January 4 Posted January 4 4-2-3-1 again. Valery and Lowe as the full backs. Bannan and Charles in midfield with Windass, Gassama and Musaba ahead and Ugbo up top. Quote
Andyben Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Hopefully this is the one time that starting Ugbo / Tony and Djedi works Quote

Tewksbury Posted January 4 Posted January 4 1 minute ago, Andyben said: Hopefully this is the one time that starting Ugbo / Tony and Djedi works The issue with playing those 2 together is you also have to account for Windass and Bannan, so you have 1 off the ball player (Charles) and 4 on the ball players, so we usually end up starved of the ball and under pressure. Very probably. But also against a team with five goals in the last ten, there is every chance we’ll ride out a bit of pressure with no real damage done and then win the game in a 20 minute second half spell when it clicks (probably after Pol and J Lowe come on). This will be helped by Max Lowe at left back, who will stay at home. Quote
HoylandOwl Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Balls to the wall attack, get 2 in front. Job done. 🙂 Quote

Canterburyowl Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Unbelievable decision, wonder if that was players making the decision thinking if Ugbo scored it would help him. Criminal if it was Quote

DirtyOwl Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Gonna need another goal to see this out imo, milwall haven’t offered much but we always seem to concede one. Quote
Harry Lime Posted January 4 Posted January 4 The lad's head is shot. Just needs to get his head down and run and chase, it'll come sooner or later. Bit of time with the psychologist wouldn't go amiss either. Hope he comes back on for the second half, lst thing he needs is getting hooked now. Quote
HoylandOwl Posted January 4 Posted January 4 The penalty was awful. It's all well and good the players wanting the best for Ike, but... His confidence seems to be lower than a snakes belly, and now, it's probably worse Quote
owl4ever1867 Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Agree with Reesh, get Windass on that one & also concur with MK, if you're going to let Ugbo take it, then we should've been 3-0 up firstly. Quote
Harry Lime Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Ugbo's at rock bottom now, there's only one way to go. Quote
