Out of interest young un got me for Christmas a programme when we played Derby on 30th Jan 1999.

Pay on the day price on the Kop for a Category A game ?

I won't do a guessing game

The answer was £16

Given it averages £20 per game on the Kop these days with a season ticket then that is a below inflation increase in that period

Its a shame that's happened just wish we didn't have to be like the rest or dearer than the majority.

Must be people out there who can think of other ways to drum up income.

I don’t suppose we have to be ‘like the rest’.
Don’t expect any progress on or off field though.

Are Wednesday tickets more expensive then our peers?

Ignore the numpties comparing out most expensive walk ups to other teams cheapest and I don't think we are.

Out of interest - most expensive Ipswich Season Ticket last year was over £1200.

How many folks in here have renewed then?

Will renew as late as possible.  My own shit protest at crappie timing and short timescales yet again.  No problem with prices though.

Was hoping Pay Pal was the operator again as the pay over 4 months was excellent last year.

Be last minute so prob 3rd, what I have noticed since my 1st In 1967 is they seem to go up in price nearly every season.

Memory serves that there was a fairly sizeable reduction once we left the Premier League and it was clear the return path was not going to be quick, trust us to lose the clock

Got mine last week.

Off on my hols today. Had I been going a week earlier, I might well have completely missed the window. Early bird window should be at least a month.

Good to see you still posting Wadders. This site is the somewhat ascerbic antidote to OT. Over there you're piled on for posting the faintest hint of praise for DC. It's  the opposite here. Thing is most on here recognise DC's faults, quirks and oddball character. We have no time however for those with the endless, and all too often spurious, fault finding.  The ones that seize on anything that can be distorted or amplified whilst  dismissing the good as either 'lucky' (e.g. Röhl) or 'bare minimum' (backing him with staff/players).

There have been infiltrators on here that contributed  zero on topics other than DC then sloped back to OT with tales of their derring do.

Anyway you've not been initiated on here until being 'spanked' by Reesh.

My issue over there is that everything is black and white where as most things are a bit grey imo.

I'm fine with Reesh or anybody else give and take is all good 💙

Am on a multi-season one.

I thought I was mate so being local I popped into the ticket office last week, only to be told all 3 year S/T had now expired ……. Only 10 year ones are still active & the lovely Kathryn in the ticket office says there’s no plans for a multi year season ticket scheme in the future!

Now £380 lighter for renewing my North Stand ticket (excellent value) but wasn’t expecting it ……. Completely my fault 🤦‍♂️

It was apparently him who said that concession tickets should have been raised (and then were) at the engagement panel

Yes. That was what was aimed at him.

Renewed mine yesterday.  Not particularly convenient timing, but fuck it.  If lots of things went tits up for me, then probably the last luxury spending I’d allow myself would be watching Wednesday.

I did mine straight away.

Some chatter on Stalk about people losing their seat for next season if they haven’t renewed. I thought it sounded like BS but there are several saying that’s what’s happened. If so it seems a bit odd that the club are allowing that. I’m sure when I moved seats a few seasons back I was told I couldn’t until the renewals at the end of the season had closed. Anyone else had any issues?

I don’t see how you could lose your seat at this stage. They couldn’t very well release it to someone else while the holder could renew up until the last possible moment before the phase closes.

In the ticket office in midweek, they told me none of the seats currently assigned to people are ‘released’ till July.

If you read the thread there is a rational explanation to what may have happened. That is someone may have ticked the wrong box or someone on their friends and family group did to say " I am not renewing" hence the seats were released
