These are a proper throw back side. As ale house as you will see in the Championship. Direct, second balls, up the pitch as quick as they can.

If we stand up to it, we’ll beat them.

Danny Rohl I just love him he’s so humble and just loves what he does he can shag my missus anytime he wants if it helps and I know I’m biased but she’s fit 🫡🫡🫡🙌🙌🙌🙌💙💙🦉🦉

On current form we should win this but it's Derby away so we probably won't.

Someone said earlier we have to match them in effort and endeavour, or similar. If we don't, we'll get beat, if we do, we won't. See who turns up and what the team is but we need workers, not shirkers. Gassama and Musaba start, we'll get beat. But they won't. Best thing would be to start Gassama and then swap him out for Musaba on 65 minutes.

Similar test to Portsmouth in that it will have spells of bombardment which isn’t our strong point.

No Bernard either due to suspension

I would go with this…

Beadle

Valery, Iorfa, Lowe

Valentin, Charles, Bannan, Johnson

Ingelsson, Smith, Gassama

Gassama is the x-factor today. They are not mobile defensively and he’s very good on the turn into space. I want Ingelsson to get as close to Smith as possible.

If Ihekwei is fit and ready then actually we'll  be better equipped to withstand that type of battery. He's significantly better in the air defensively than Bernard.

Well that does seem to be Röhl's thinking too of late, so no worries eh?

No Ihiekwe either, is it?

I didn't see the press conference the other day, but I'm sure DR said the other week that Ihiewe was back amongst the group, when Chalobah was.

It’s one of the worst games I have ever seen this. Derby are absolute dogger, but that’s being surpassed by us being even more dogger.

It’s bouncing off us, we are dropping 10 yard passes 20 yards short. And we are doing loads of reactionary sprints, so this is where you break into the sprint way to late.

You could make a whole raft of changes. But my immediate two are Palmer on for Valery and Windass on for Musaba.

I am not sure what Rohl sees but Musaba and Gassama starting never ruddy works and it's not again today.

Playing like we did in the 2nd half at Hull

Thought that was a dreadful first half.

Iorfa at fault for the goal, just stood ball watching whilst the Derby player popped round him to score.

Bannan has been utter garbage, his passing today has been atrocious, can't make a simple pass.

Can't get the ball up top, Musaba, Gassama very quiet, Smith has had nothing.

Massive team talk coming up here, couple of then need hooking.

Hopefully the in the 2nd half, we'll play like we did in the first at Hull but convert the chances we make.

Honestly, if we can improve ball retention and up the tempo by 10%, we will win. There is sooo much space out wide, and they have two carthorses at full back that we will get joy without much work.

So I get why he wants to play Gassama and Musaba to exploit that but it's no use if you don't have the ball and when you do it's a bad pass

The issue is the ball to get them away, what is key is that is not Bannan and Charles today, but it’s actually the wing backs and Valery who have been sloppy. They have the space, and they have runners ahead of them and it’s either been behind them, or forcing them to check the run.

I literally haven’t got a clue where anyone is playing now. Shea Charles at centre half? Palmer in midfield?

What I do know is that we have got a lot of forwards who are getting it in really good areas and making the wrong decision. Between they 50th and 55th minute, Gassama, Musaba and Smith have got the ball right on top of Derby’s back four without pressure, and made some terrible decisions on what to do next.
