Points Haul

As we head into a "favourable" run of games, Boro aside, what would be an acceptable return of points from the following fixtures

Derby A

PNE H

Blackburn H

Oxford A

Stoke H

Boro A

PNE A

Derby H

While the ideal has to be the 'hallowed' average of 2 points per game across the piece, while I think is definitely achievable over the next 5, I think we might come unstuck at Boro and PNE.

After Boro getting beaten by Blackburn last night it might not be as tough as we expected on Boxing day. 

Impossible to predict which games we will win but I think about 13 points would be satisfactory leaving us on 35 points going into January which will mean any relegation worries should be over.

I think 14-18 is a possibility, but 9-13 would be acceptable, given where we are.  Less than that would not really be good enough.

We are a mid table side so 12 points is the minimum. Haven't we now got more points on our travels than home games. 

You certainly don't want to rely on that
