Andyben Posted November 25 Posted November 25 Also a little insight into Sir Dave's priorities 1 Quote
HoylandOwl Posted November 25 Posted November 25 Wow. Not really surprising, but... It's nice to know we weren't all wrong about him appearing to be looking after his own personal interests ahead of running the football club. Quote

Just one little change to your post 🤫 You don't know the half of it pal. 1 hour ago, Beaconowl said: I am one of many amongst us that despise Uncle Dave [wanker Emoji] It should be a longer list. 2 Quote

I don't want to know the rest of it if I'm honest. Nothing that bloke could do or say these days will ever change my mind, or make my disdain of his 'running' of the club any lighter. 1 Quote

tomcore Posted November 29 Posted November 29 1:30 in the video for the childish ones. I didn't rate Pleat that much at the time, but looking back he had a really difficult job to juggle the change in generations as well as having to deal with Sir Dave. Thank him for letting us watch the Italians and... Mark Pembridge. Quote
lobster Posted November 29 Posted November 29 Pleat was a very bitter man who resented the amounts that players were now being paid so had a difficult relationship with players, but " sucked " up to the Chairman very well Di Canio was looking for a way out of Wednesday long before he engineered that incident, and then there was the Patrick Blondeau fiasco 1 Quote
