Really jeez. I laugh about setting up a company which simply employs all those cancelled for social media crimes. Works like an umbrella company - let's the employer who has to be seen to do the right thing continue to use folk off the books

The scarier story is actually on the front page of The Telegraph where one of their journos notes getting a knock from the Starmsi over the weekend about an historic tweet. Won't say what the tweet was, who the "victim" was.

The serious point on this is that human nature means we all have bias, whether it's conscious, sub conscious or just off yer head.

Without going all conspiracy theory, well a tad, the age of the current refs is in their 30s and early 40s. Most would have not been born or were very young at the time of the disaster. 

The story of that has continued, our role in that is a negative, the narrative does not focus on what football was like everywhere, we are the synonymous party. Our stadium looks basically the same.

In the heat of a game, making a split 2nd call, does that subconscious kick in.

For all the shit he’s brought upon himself, I hope the constant barrage of abuse/pisstaking doesn’t push him over the edge. We’ve seen it before (outside of sport) when people who’ve had a similar experience results in them taking their own life.

Hes made a mistake, maybe a few, but that doesn’t mean people should hound him.
