Di'Shon Bernard ole ole

Recommended Posts

50 games up for the club last night, quickly come around, lad is a classy player and may outgrow the club if he continues the trajectory he is on and takes on board what Danny and co are drilling into him.

He is one booking away from a suspension, so would you take a tactical yellow v Watford so he's available for the pigs?

Yes, though against Watford I don't think it'll have to be tactical. Their forward line trip over their own shadows

Play him v Watford for me. Same 3 points at stake. Just don't get booked for something daft like obvious time wasting or dissent.

I'd play him v Watford and if he can get through that without a card and we have Ihiekwe back for Norwich give him a rest ahead of them pig *****.

Yes, managing fitness/wellbeing prudently is sensible. Juggling/weakening the team just to delay a one match ban isn't.

I was thinking he gets a card v Watford so he misses Norwich and kills two birds and one pig.

Ah yes of course. Foggy thinking on my part. Be interesting to see what happens if he doesn't pick up a booking against Watford. I'd still hope that Danny would base his selection against Norwich solely on the best team for that fixture fitness/fatigue permitting.

I have always thought he is better than a lot give him credit for. Anyway, we need him to step up since Famewo is out.  Not like we had a ton of depth in that area anyway lol smh.

And hey first post here(Though been a member for quite awhile haha). Fan since the Simek days, teach Psych at a local college, and looking forward to actually start joining in on the conversations. This seems like a way better place to chat than Owlstalk haha.

He's probably the best defender at the club, who are the retards that don't see it? You can tell he was brought up in the right way club wise and he is pacy, powerful and can actually play football.

Ah, American.....FFS.

As mentioned in another thread, earlier Otegbayo. He was outstanding the other night, and looks like there's a LOT more to come from him. If we lost Bernard, I know you mentioned Ihiekwe, who tbh hasn't done a lot wrong, but I wouldn't be averse to Otegbayo playing V Norwich either.

I think he’s a top defender, as is Famewo.

His actual issue is that when he has a bad game, his head goes and has a stinker. But, the more he plays, the better he’s got.

Hes got the lot, he’s big, strong and quick, he’s good in the air, he reads the game and he’s comfortable with the ball.

Akin has been so unlucky with injuries, you can see the work Röhl and co have put into has been coming to the fore as each game passes.

Agreed, in the last month he's been fantastic in particular. Very reliable on both sides of the ball.

Haha I don't think he is overrated friend, I have just heard it before. I agree he is best we have right now and glad he is an Owl.

And yes I am an American. Don't give a rat's ass about Trump or Harris, own no guns, and think most American beer is piss😉
