He appeared in When Saturday Comes around the same time he was arrested for stashing a stolen Post Office safe in his garage. Think he needed the money.  Liked to bet, and not very good at it.

I once saw him at Wetherby races and had a chat with him.He was probably hoping not to be recognised by his initial reaction,but then again that’s happened to me a few times down the years.

Can’t remember for sure now but I think he was managing Boston at the time.Or am I mistaken?
