HoylandOwl
Just saw that headline on Sky Sports too. Found this line interesting in the link Reesh shared... In their ruling, the independent panel said the PSR rules "are, in relevant parts, far from well drafted". Wonder how many other clubs jump on that, and any other potential ambiguity in the rules. They have escaped - for now at least presumably the EPL could appeal - on the grounds the charges could not be raised when they were in the EFL. More likely our porcine neighbours could argue that the EFL could not defer charges when they were in the EPL Basically it could mean an EFL club could hugely overspend, get promoted and never face consequences. Effectively what Wolves and Villa did City are in the EPL, their challenge will simply be the EPL can't adjudicate
mkowl
It still asks the question that whilst you may be a member / share owner in the EPL or indeed EFL and by doing so effectively sign up to the rules, you can still challenge those rules. They are not binding in legislation, indeed they cannot usurp legislation if it existed. As we saw when our own case was heard, if we had gotten the right paperwork in place the rules were so piss poor and they had folk reviewing them were piss poor we should have escaped sanction. The reality is Man City's lawyers will win their case as they challenge the authority, that Leicester have done, as a first defence. Everton sadly had a legal defence as good as their own back 4/
Owling_Wolf
Won't be the first time that rules have to be rewritten once Leicester have slimed their way to promotion through or round them. Can still see Lineker's sickening grin from the first time.
Skamp
Horrid cheating club with horrible, clappy toy clapping, wankers for fans. And they say that cheats never prosper.

HoylandOwl
While on the subject of PSR, I see that Chelsea have managed to shave £76m off their balance sheet from a couple of seasons back by having their sale of two club hotels to an associated company ratified as done by the Prem.
