DirtyOwl
With the team set now until January and as we’ve seen most if not all of the new signings what is our best 11? Danny has been trying a 4231 / 424 which isn’t working so looking at the squad how would you set us up?
Andyben
Every one fit: Harmer Valery Ihekiwe Bernard Pol V Chalobah Charles Lowe Musaba Ingelsson Ugbo
owl4ever1867
Personally I'd be playing a 4-3-1-2 Beadle Valery Bernard Iorfa M.Lowe. Valentin Charles Johnson Gassama Inglesson Ugbo/Lowe That way we have the 3 across helping out the defence as we have been totally over run of late, a coupla players seem undropable which they need to be. Tylluan
If we're sticking with 4-2-3-1 then... Beadle Valery Iorfa Bernard Johnson Charles Chalobah Pol Windass Kobacki Ugbo Windass gets the nod so I can move to 4-4-2 in play. Pol and Kobacki play because (from I've seen so far) they're more likely to be more direct but also track back. Johnson provides that bit more stability than Lowe.

I've not seen either of those two fully track back or put a decent tackle in. When Kobacki came on against Plymouth I watched him shadow the inside space all the way into our right back position and put at least one block in. And I know it was only against Grimsby but him and Marv seemed to find a good understanding and balance on our left, where he cut inside and let Marv go past him. We haven't seen that with Lowe and Musaba Musaba and Gassama are great attacking prospects and their time would come at the right point in a game or against the right opposition but my team is for QPR, Luton, and West Brom where we need to be stronger (maybe more pragmatic) than we were against Millwall Edited September 4 by Tylluan
KrolMong Posted Thursday at 07:44 Share Posted Thursday at 07:44 I’ll stick with the 4-2-3-1 but mix and match depending on the opposition. Away from home/good opposition Beadle Valery, Iorfa, Bernard, Johnson Charles, Chalobah Musaba, Windass, Kobacki Ugbo Home/games where we dominate the ball Beadle Pol V, Iorfa, Bernard, Johnson Charles, Chalobah Musaba, Bannan, Kobacki Ugbo
