So we go into this one 8 unbeaten in all competitions. A similar result to the final match of last season would be nice but am expecting a much trickier task.

We'll come out on top mind and I'm going 3-1 to the Owls with a late third putting the icing on the cake.

Come on Wednesday!!!!!

I don't think we'll concede a league goal in the whole of August

I'm the opposite.

I can see us going full Keeganball with an effectively 2-1-7 formation.

There will be at least one shootout this season with 8-10 total goals scored.

I take it you missed the match last weekend and only saw the B team v Hull?

Beadle Valery Iorfa Bernard Lowe is not far off as good as it gets in this league.

How many league goals D you think we'll concede between now and 31/8?

Ugbo won't be starting and M Lowe is available so expect the same XI as Plymouth.

Sunderland won at Cardiff last week under their new boss so could be a bigger test than we faced in May but have faith in Danny and Co to the the points.

Saw both, if Plymouth had been better they would have scored, we got caught on the break a few times and that was just them hoofing it.

Let's see what happens when we play against a decent midfielder or two or a quick frontline. I can see Leeds getting one at least if we go full press all game.

IMPORTANT SUPPORTER INFORMATION

The Stadium of Light is a cashless venue, with only card payments taken at the kiosks.

Owls supporters will be asked to dispose of any coins and vapes on arrival at the stadium.

All coins collected will be donated to a charity nominated by SWFC.

So make sure you put all your pound coins in the pub fruit machine and don't vape at half time. At least us smokers can take a lighter in 🤣

Sunderland have not won at home since Feb.

Fuck sake.

We got done off a training ground freekick.

Really awful from Windass for the second.

Sunderland are not remotely inviting the press and don’t want to play backwards. They are even bypassing the midfield. We need a goal fairly quickly.

Windass needs a hook now. It makes no difference to what you do on the training ground, if players make mistakes like he has for the second and third, all that matters work counts for nothing.

Windass involved in all three goals - not absolute howlers but culpable nonetheless. Free kick for first was dodgy to be fair though.

Was never a free kick in a million years but my god the defending was woeful.
