Take it this will be worn against Sunderland, Stoke and our neighbours as our 'white' home shirt and orange away deemed as a clash ?

Although Sunderland and United both wear Black Shorts so not sure we have thought this one through !

I like it. It’s a shame it’s a third kit as it could’ve been an away kit in its own right. It will probably become like those white and gold or white and sky blue ones from Forestieri and Fletcher era which were nice shirts but barely worn.

Can anyone see these online? My Mrs is trying to get the kids them, but can't see them in the online shop.

Went live at 10am

A friend got ours for us, he said the queue was out on to Penistone Road. He thinks some people were there from 7am.

It's still is.

Mate just sent me a pic

Shop website has crashed.

Unless you only want small and medium don't bother, that's all there is available.

5000 shirts and nearly sold out in 4 hours massive 💙💙🦉🦉🦉 I don’t think I’ve ever queued that long for anything at Hillsborough before not even tickets (when they weren’t online)

Limited edition Chelters, they said prior to release that they won't be getting anymore in....

Ah I see. Going to be the first shirt released to buy since 1989 that I don’t have them. Never mind.

I can source you one Chelters - 30 quid.  Delivery 3 weeks 😄

I think that might be the option….but not if anyone from SWFC is reading this obviously

Bit ironic all this isn’t it?

Club tell supporters not to buy fake shirts, then immediately releases one limited to 5k in number.

So even if supporters are queueing round the block with their £69 hanging out of their back pocket, desperate to get hold of the genuine article (which is what’s happened today), a good number of them aren’t going to be able to get hold of one.

I wonder what will happen next?

Perhaps they'll spend their cash on a genuine orange away shirt instead.

Another one on at £115......

His excuse is......

He wanted a XXXL but only had XXL, reckons it's too small & it's difficult to get to the shop to return it (what utter fucking bollocks)

Found out it's limited edition, so that's why it's a higher price.

What a ****

Only have third kit junior and infant shirt sizes on the club shop website, so I hope they’ve got what you want in store. 🤞

Thanks Bells. Yes and no, got adult small for my daughter, wanted medium for my lad and several x's for me, but I knew there was no chance, but it's her birthday next week and she's desperate so can't really grumble.

My real gripe is that I had all 3 in my basket and the website kept crashing and I couldn't buy them online. Hopefully the crazy demand will make them reconsider not ordering a load more.

Yep, I’m hoping that the club realise they’ve really underestimated the demand for them and commission another batch in the near future.

Not only will it appease supporters who haven’t been able to get them, it’ll also generate a fair few quid for the club as well.

Win, win all round!

Wouldn’t be considered good form amongst collectors though. Those that bought believe there would be X of each shirt wouldn’t want to then find out it’s now an edition of Y

The only people who would be worried about how limited the shirt is are those who seek to make a profit.

Personally if I was the club I'd be buying those shirts off eBay and if the bank account I'm paying the money into was used to buy a season ticket or used to buy matchday tickets then I'd be banning the holder. If the shirt turned out to be snidey then I'd be informing plod and issuing an intellectual property writ.

Then don’t release a kit that’s limited in quantity, if you can’t accept that someone might sell it for a profit down the road.

Maybe only sell them to those with 800 season ticket points, or those that live in the S6 postcode to guarantee that they stay in the hands of true fans?

Is it because this reminds you of English owning a second home in Wales that it triggered you so much?
