Of not having neutral panel guests, the nauseating commentary that Drury does especially that first Liverpool game. I blame the youngsters Why, what have us youngsters done wrong now? 👀

I only put on the Brum game just after kickoff just as Wrexham scored, but the cut away shots were constantly showing Tom Brady, with Beckham next to him. The commentary actually was not too dwelling on it, because ultimately it was a decent match. That is my point, the football will create the storyline, like the 93rd to 95th minute on Saturday. It doesn't need the sub stories to make it interesting. Afterwards yep. My point is that the youngsters have the attention span of a gnat so you have to create a story as well. No need, just watch the ruddy game. The same wankers who go to a gig and watch most of it via their phone

It did make me laugh when the interviewer (no idea who he was) spoke about Brady in the third person to the chairman, while he was stood there between the sky bloke and the chairman and Brady hammered him for it.

This pisses me off at our house, I’ll put a game on and the young lad in our house will say he wants to watch it, ten mins in there’s no goals so he fecks off back to TikTok or some other bullshit and then proceeds to tell me the next day what happened even though I watched the game. That said though, since he’s started coming to S6 with me he’s glued to it when he’s in the ground now

mkowl Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 That is bollocks in the Brighton game. Ref says Gibbs White got the ball at first, 4th official then intervenes for an on pitch call and gets the 2nd yellow
Andyben Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 4th official was correct and did his job properly.
bradowl Posted September 22, 2024 Posted September 22, 2024 It would have been a great tackle 20 years ago but unfortunately you can't do tackles like that anymore.

Citeh in the second half insisted on playing down their right. It was so obvious and all many shots were then from outside the penalty area. Enter Grealish and the equaliser comes from their left. Other point Citeh guilty of was the pedestrian pace they took getting back upfield on the odd occasion Arsenal ventured forward. Edited September 22, 2024 by Skamp

KrolMong Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 Arsenal are brilliant defensively. That back four (with Timber and Calafiori) plus Rice and Partey/Jorginho are outstanding. And they have a top keeper too. City after the sending off were trying to drag one of the players out of position. So Arsenal let Dias or Stones have it 25 yards out, but if Foden and Silva got it, they popped out and closed the gap. Arsenal were happy to send City wide too. It was ironic that it was a quick corner that did them. Brilliant game. Arsenal again won’t be far off. But, they will regret not getting the striker.
