Hahaha. Almost that many of our fans at Coventry on Saturday

Ah but the old how many tickets have we sold vis a vis how many turn up

Tbf if we were playing at home on a Thursday night I suspect if we got 8k it would be decent.

The story is more how the FA have totally fucked up this competition.

According to the commentator they had to include all the players, officials, stewards and the tea ladies to get it above 6k. Not sure how true that is by the way or whether I made it up or not.

Not watched it.  United's starting team was hardly known to me, though.

I know a few of them like Hamer, O'Hare, Brewster and the Lurch bloke but that's about it. Brewster played but none of the others so they fielded a weakened team. Not sure if Cardiff had done the same or not.

Cardiff was also a very much changed team. Apart from a couple of old heads, like Joe Ralls doing his 400th game, 10 of last night's squad were 23 or under.

Wonder how much income Tamworth could have got for the replay at Tottenham had 3rd round replays been happening?

Still, that overseas friendly in Malaysia is far more important

900k per the FA cup thread.

I would have more empathy if they had not fleeced their own fans for this game.

So the 900k would probably have just gone back to the owner.

Arsenal will be kicking themselves this season.

It’s the worst City team they have put out for probably 6 years. Liverpool have come into the new season with a new manager but the same squad as last season. The traditional rivals are either a mile off (United) or closing the gap and not ready yet (Chelsea).

All they needed was a striker. They’ve done nothing and unless they perform miracles and win a Champs League, they’ll go trophyless again and worse still, next season will have a resurgent City, and a Chelsea team who are not far off.

I for one, find this very funny.

It'll be even funnier if Liverpool fall off and Forest win it.

It was theirs to lose this season, completely baffling why they never tried to sign a striker, given there were proven players (such as Solanke and Toney) on the move. Even now they don't seem to be acting, surely Omar Marmoush is exactly who they should be looking at in the window!!?

Sky now trailing a new slant to the breaking news. Which clubs will be getting EPL charges for breaching financial rules.

I mean I do like my day job but when it starts to become an add on to transfer news etc it does means it's a bit fucked football

Millwall just took the lead v Dagenham when their striker had a shot blocked and he headed it in whilst prone on the floor, like one of those piss take goals you did when you were a kid

The old joke that Lee Chapman would be better at heading penalties than using his feet

Perhaps Ugbo and Lowe could try it

Shall we all take a minute to thank Man United for tonight's result against those sloppy scummers

I think Rohl should thank Chansiri for preventing him being in charge of that defence

It was a mad game to watch.

Southampton should have been 4 or 5 up by the time that Diallo scored. And could have easily been 5-1 down at full time.

If replays were still a thing I'm sure Son and Kulusevski would have been on earlier and Tottenham would have stepped it up a bit sooner.

If there were still replays we would have to play Coventry again !

Yay!   😋

Bournemouth were brilliant against Newcastle today. Something like 10 injured and they have battered Newcastle.

Just had the 3 o’clocks on multiview. Brentford v Liverpool was a really good game. But Liverpool just keep going and grind you down. Relentless.

West Ham are a right mess. And Leicester are down, it’s over for them.

Way this afternoons scores are going Rohl might still end up at Southampton, but more likely Spurs

He’s on borrowed time, especially with Daniel in charge
