🤮   Youlgreave Drive, I suspect.   But when he first managed in That London he had the perfect Mrs. Doubtfire makeover.  Not a pretty sight to start with, that looked horrendous.  Someone did an actual Mrs. Doubtfire 'poster' of him at the time: might actually have seen it on here.

To be honest they were played off the park by Oxford who sewed them up and allowed them no space.

I always think there is plenty of mumblings in the background before this, either the manager becomes unhappy eg Howe at the Geordies or a few senior pros questioning things - see there are whispers about the Cardiff manager.

I guess that Rohl did turn it around last season for us, justifies it a. bit more, ie you can turn it around

The thing is, you can only turn it around if the players, or at least the senior players want to turn it around.

The manager can put the players out and tell them what to do, but whether they do it or not is a different story.

One or two of Plymouth at ours didn't try, (though some of their better players were on the bench.)

 I WhatsApped several mates about how unimpressed Stoke fans were with their new coach this morning!   The interchange between fed up fans in 'Comments' below the Beeb story was cracking in parts.  Stokey said he'd had to Google him. Two successive Naarch said THEY'D just had to Google him!  🤣

The Stoke Director of Football, (Jon Waters?), was getting some right abuse.  The Stoke fans sounded very long suffering, were almost unanimous in saying Schumaker would simply have had had a falling out with Waters after losing 0-1 at home to Oxford, followed by Waters praising to the skies this effectively unknown coach from Norwich, (who btw had lost 0-2 at home to Oxford!)   😁

Yep they didn't see happy, losing 3 - 1 at home never helps but you got the impression - might have been the Sky narrative helping - that they were questioning this.

Tbh the appointment of Rohl was still "who" but given the utter dog shit that preceded him he did get time

He was a shell of his former self in recent magazine interviews but he couldn't be silenced.
