Even though they’re down to 10 men, Middlesbrough are making Sunderland look very ordinary on their own patch.

3-0 down after 72 minutes and the ground is emptying.

Just to clarify, Sunderland are down to 10 men.

Interesting result in a friendly that’s just finished.  Georgia beat Thailand 8-0 in a friendly, their all time biggest victory.  This is five weeks after they had their all time biggest defeat, losing 7-1 at home to Spain in a Euro qualifier.  Obviously a big difference in the standard of opposition.  That must be some kind of a record, a team that’s been playing competitive football for a while having their record win and record defeat so close together?

The power Sky holds.

Citeh v Victims due to be 5.30pm on 25th November will now ko at 12.30 as police won't allow the game to start so late in the day following previous trouble.  Still to be shown on Sky

Meanwhile, Brentford v Arsenal which was the 12.30 game on TNT will now move to 5.30 to accommodate. Still on TNT

So not much power then?

Yep I was presuming the power was with the plod here.

It's like the fucktards whenever there is a 2pm game on a Sunday that isn't on Sky. Or indeed every 3pm game on a Saturday.

"Why aren't Sky showing it"

Well because it's the EPL that sell the rights and Sky / TNT acquire packages of games offered for sale and these aren't

You can explain it a dozen times and they still lick the windows

Wales handed it to Argentina through too many unforced errors, being offside too many times, and not being able to throw a basic lineout.

Basically we were shit, bottled it, and through away the chance of a semi final place.

And yet in the 1st half Arg were giving the pens away stupidly, like they did vs England.

Rugby Union is right shit innit

Quite civilised really. You can buy a pint and take it to your seat, get up mid game and go for another, etc, etc.

I love my trips down to watch Northampton with my nephew

You see this cricket thing amuses me.

We can talk about a sport just because Wednesday was spawned from a cricket club 156 years ago but not a popular sport in 2023.

If only admin were as fond of a different sport than cricket, we might be able to all join in.

Amazing game! I fear for England next weekend

Depends how we approach it Beacon, if we try to go toe to toe with them, we will get trounced, but Ireland and France have shown the Saffers are far from unbeatable (appreciate France lost, but they really shouldn't have).

I agree Otto, play our own game. I would also bring Steward back in at Full Back

I'd be pasting the words of the Saffers hooker up on the dressing room wall. He said something along the lines of "We've still got two games to go" and (whilst I'm not sure he meant it like this) I'd be telling the lads he thinks the semi final is a foregone conclusion, let's go and shove them words down his throat.

An expected victory for Wales last night Mr Tylluan?

Wasn't expecting it in the slightest. Was hoping for a draw and a search for a new manager this morning.

I still think we're looking at the play-offs as Croatia should beat Latvia away and Armenia at home and we have Armenia away (who we lost to at home) and Turkey at home.

What's that?

Get it within field goal distance, engineer the foul, and kick it?

You can feel the bitterness oozing out of this post can't you? Easiest of all the quarter final games and they fucked it up royally 🤣
