  1. Good points- Momo. Bad Points _- just about everything else. If scouts from other teams watched Wednesday so far this season, they would leave by half time. I worry that most of the new signings won't fit in, or just haven't got what it takes. I watched the Plymouth match and they gave Southampton a game, unlike us. They played better today than the other games, including the friendlies, but there is very limited ability to create chances. I know it takes time to be a cohesive unit, but IF that happens, how many points will we be adrift by then?
  2. Fucking hell, that is inciteful beyond words. If I need anything to get me off to sleep tonight I will read that post again.
  3. I don't think it's me that's an attention seeking troll
  4. I agree with you lets have some excitement. Watching other teams probe us and tease us, while we just can't get a touch is horrible.
  5. Regi Blinker scored two goals on his debut for us and only one more in the next 41 games. Strange things can happen in the short term is what I am eluding too, over a longer period things level out.
  6. Yep, get him in the shop window asap so we can get a few peanuts in if he shows any promise, you know the drill.
  7. We have scored with just about all our shots on target! That won't continue for sure, but if we maintain such low possession we are finished. One player up top never works for us, they are too isolated, we don't have enough pace in the side either as it stands, maybe one of the new players can help with that though? Possession for the sake of possession is pointless, but we can't defend 70% of the game with an ageing side and hope to succeed. We need to create a load more chances and hope we can get on the end of them regularly.
  8. Sorry for being the voice of reason. I hope he is a great player for us. He played once as a sub for a big club. (remember - a Fiat with a Bentley badge on it, is still a Fiat) then got sent to the Belgian league, then he joined us. There are dozens and dozens of players who have been on the books at large clubs who never achieve what was once anticipated, loads never even get a career out of football and drop into non-league.
  9. Let's see what he does at Wednesday before getting too excited. He is 19 and has made about the same number of appearances in th Belgian league.
  10. I look forward to seeing him on the lush Hillsborough turf.
  11. Yeah, I am looking forward to some dovetailing too.
