  1. Am pretty sure we where in said pub for this one - my recollection is slightly different though. Our group about 6 of us where in this pub & Ricky phones one of lads asking him which boozer he was in & if it was any good. He said it was crap but they had a karaoke machine in corner & that was enough for Ricky, he was here with about 10/15 other lads he's dragged along promising birds / karaoke shortly after. We'd been talking with a older local bloke who was on his own, Ricky was talking with a few lads playing pool & all seemed calm . After a while a few more locals came in & you could feel a bit of tension between Ricky & group playing pool, before all pool lads suddenly left leaving there drinks. There was only about 10ish Wednesday in there now as some had already left. Next thing about 20 Derby burst into pub & about same outside, as they burst in local bloke sat with us told them to back off & no one gets hurt. Derby's lads tell us we've got 30 secs to get out or we're getting it, unfortunately one of our group was having a badly time toilet visit so we had to politely decline. Local bloke said we where all with him & for them to back down. Next thing our mate appeared with Ricky both completely oblivious to what was going on, Ricky then asks all Derby lot if there here for Karaoke & shouts We All Wednesday or What. I though that was going to be it but Derby lot never moved, next we see one copper outside shoving Derby lot away outside & next thing riot vans pulled up outside - we saw Ricky just walking away on his own outside not even sure he knew what had just happened . Local bloke was joined by his Mrs & he bought us all a pint saying he admired how we all stuck together. Coppers after clearing derby lot out said we had to leave. Local bloke told them we where with him so they just stood outside until we finished drink. We thanked local bloke & left, Derby lot where just up road in another pub so coppers phoned us taxi's & we ended up somewhere else. No idea who that local bloke was but he some serious influence !!!!.
  2. Lets drive the chairman out then - with out a buyer. Great idea that FFS
  3. Really affected me hearing this yesterday, known him as many have for 30+ yrs. Not what i'd call a close mate but whenever we frequently bumped into each other we'd always have a chat & his usual " We all Wednesday or what / All Wednesday aren't we " . As i'm sure everyone has - got so many memories / funny stories of Ricky it's unreal, never a dull moment in his company ever!. He's got me into / out of (Mainly into) so many scrapes over the years. Last time i saw in him 'action' was in Bankers draft last year against Rotherham when after one of there chants went up they were soon ditching there pints & quickly leaving. Going to miss you Pal & unreal i'll never here you say your 'catchphrases' again but your memory will always live on through them. RIP Ricky - & i'll be raising a glass to you tonight & when we pass through Donny 'on way to Ipswich next week - All Wednesday aren't we'
  4. That's my theory out of the window then !!!!
  5. From what i heard Derby weren't offering any where near 100% of Gregory's wages, in-fact it was a piss take ! Can Gregory still move on this season if his contract is mutually terminated?.
  6. Same sh*t stirring cock ends as usual from what i can see on line. They've just been dormant waiting for a few bad results before 'pressing send'. I'm sure dome of our 'fans' actually take pleasure in us doing crap as seems to bizarrely make them happy & feel more important. Looking for to debating with anyone that gives me a leaflet tonight & actually putting some faces to who actually supports this lot. Any leaflet i get will be getting disposed of ASAP. Enjoy your perceived self importance tonight 1867 group - sure this is just what players / management need.
  7. Who's leading this massive march then if they're remaining anonymous ??... Sometimes i walk through park but will be changing my route that day.
  8. I was a few rows in front of that banner last night & saw when it made an appearance for a brief 30 seconds. Few people round me shouted a few words of 'discouragement' & made there feelings known that they weren't speaking for him. It made another brief appearance at full time for about 30 secs but most people just couldn't be arsed to support / or have a go at.
  9. Hardly justice - they battered loads of elderly people who had left early to beat the rush, on our bus a young lad had blood pouring from his head & a group of about five 14yr olds had been badly beaten by a mob of 20 of there's. Town was interesting that afternoon as was Hillsborough, was literally kicking of everywhere, never seen so much violence spread out so far. Remember one copper on a horse at top of leppings lane galloping between about 4 fights trying to stop them all.
  10. Standard tactic - it's been stoked up and about to go off, i expect we'll hear nothing much from usual suspects.
  11. Predictable what's happened, it's gone way to far with his family brought into it, criminal damage at ground etc... I asked some muppett's chanting against DC at Swansea who they wanted to take over "don't care mate, just need him him out" was reply. not much point talking any further !!!! Usual lot who like de-stabilising club (even making £ from doing so) will no doubt be revelling that there efforts have forced this. i really do despise some so called 'Wednesday fans'
  12. Congratulations 1867 group - no doubt you got what you wanted a bit of publicity. And what a great protest as well - a few kids lobbing 30 max balls onto pitch. Hope you've got a thank you from Carrick as well for breaking up all momentum we had in game, it went totally flat as afterwards.
  13. What a set of attention seeking muppets, just what players need during a match, even more distraction(s). I really do despair
  14. He's contracted to SWFC. We can ask what ever we want for him, Derby didn't want to pay it so he stays put. What a drama about about absolutely nothing.
  15. Just the latest example of the Star's constant attack on the running of SWFC. We should ban all Star journo's from press conferences & stop all interviews / any contact with them.
